INSTALLATION OF WINDOWS 7

1. Download ISO image of Windows 7 and write it on a DVD

2. For bootable DVD ISO image of Windows 7 - http://msft.digitalrivercontent.net/win/X17-

24394.iso

3. Start your computer, insert a bootable Windows 7 DVD in DVD Drive and boot from DVD

4. Create bootable USB drives the easy way

5. Download Rufus from http://rufus.akeo.ie/downloads/rufus-1.4.10.exe

6. Make your usb drive bootable and boot from usb

7. Press any key for booting continue

8. The Setup starts and now system load the setup files

9. Select your language, time & currency format, keyboard or input method and click next.

10. On next screen click Install now.

11. On next screen showing startup of windows installation

12. Choose the Windows 7 version that you want to install Here we choose Windows 7

Ultimate then click next

13. Check I accept the license terms and click next.

14. On next screen for partition Click Custom (advance) and create your partition manually

and click next.

15. If you want delete partition, select partition and Click delete.

16. For create partition select unallocated space and click new.

17. Now write size of partition which you want and click on apply.

18. Click on OK.

19. Select your partition and click next for start installation.

20. It will now start installing Windows 7

21. This is first step. In first step Copying Windows files.

22. Now installer expanding Windows files.

23. Its take time please wait.

24. Now installing features.

25. Now installing updates.

26. After completing installation it will automatically restart and continue the setup. You can

also click Restart now to restart without any delays.

27. On next screen display starting windows and continue automatically

28. Now setup is updating registry settings.

29. Now setup start and complete rest of process.

30. On next screen display starting windows and continue automatically

31. On next screen display setup is preparing computer for first use and continue

automatically

32. On next screen display setup is checking video performance and continue automatically

33. Now type your desired user name in the text-box and click next. It will automatically fill

up the computer name.

34. If you want to set a password, type it in the text-boxes and click next.

35. Type your product key in the text-box and click next. You can also skip this step and

simply click Next if you want to type the product key later. Windows will run only for 30 days if

you do that.

36. Select your desired option for Windows Updates - use recommended settings

37. Select your date time and time zone Chennai Kolkata Mumbai New Delhi

38. Select your computer current location - Home Network

39. Its take time please wait.

40. Now Windows is finalizing your setting.

41. On next screen display starting windows and continue automatically.

42. On next screen display preparing your deswktop and continue automatically.

43. Now windows login automatically, If windows showing login prompt, you login with your

username and password which you set during installation.
