WHERE DO BATS LIVE?
Bats live all over the world. They sleep in trees, attics, caves, barns, and garages.
HOW DO THEY HUNT? • You’ve probably heard
someone say “blind as a bat.” Actually, bats can see. But since most bats come out at night or sundown, they do not rely on their eyes very much.
• When they are thirsty, they fly low over a lake and scoop up water in their mouth without splashing in!

•A bats life span is around 31 years.
•A bat can eat 180 bugs in a 3 hour evening
•Bats mate in the beginning of fall
•The North American common brown bat has the longest life-span of any mammal it's size, about 32 years
•Largest Bat Species, Giant Fox bat is the largest bat in the world with its wingspan reaching more than six feet.
How do bats help us?
Bats help us by eating pests, like mosquitoes, flies, moths etc and they palanate plants.
