• The Huangshan (黄山) is a mountain range in southern Anhui Province (安徽省) in eastern China, covering a total area of more than 100 kilometer squares. It is famous for its scenic beauty and is a frequent subject of traditional Chinese paintings and literature. Mount Huangshan has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.

• Huangshan beauty lies in its pines, rocks, lakes, springs, peaks, streams and waterfalls. It is thus known as the most astonishing mountain in China (天下第一奇山). Mount Huangshan is famous for its 4 wonders, namely the strange pines (奇松), absurd stones (怪石), sea of clouds (云海) and hot springs (温泉). Every pine is unique in there with the most famous pine being the Guest-Greeting Pine (迎客松). Spectacular rocky peaks taking the shapes of human beings, birds, animals and many other objects are everywhere in Mount Huangshan. The sea of clouds in Mount Huangshan is unique if compared to what one can see in other high mountains in China. The shapes and colors of the clouds are forever changing over there. Besides, one can also refresh themselves in one of the many hot springs on Mount Huangshan.
