Where are we going?

Moscow

Irkutsk

Dubai

We’re travelling, via Dubai and Moscow, to Irkutsk, Siberia,

almost 6000km from Moscow situated at the base of Lake

Baikal, the deepest lake in the world.

Just under 250km from Mongolia and near the Republic of Buryatia – one of the world’s least reached

people groups

It’s a city of 600 000 people on the Angara River (a major

Hydro-electric power hub) and is a big university and trading city

We’ll be staying near the city centre, near the main children’s home, and a couple of kms from

the church

Accommodation

Where will we stay?

In Moscow we’ll stay in a hotel near the church in the

city centre, but we’ll be hosted by the church in the

city.

In Irkutsk we’ll stay in rented apartments very near

the centre of the city, and again will be hosted by the

church (thus we will spend a lot of time in peoples

homes).

never heard the Truth of Jesus, and making Christmas special for

the orphan children of Children’s Homes around

Irkutsk.
