BUY
1. SECURITY
MONEY PROVIDES A FALSE SENSE OF
SECURITY.
Exodus 19:5
'Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice
and keep My covenant, then you shall be
My own possession among all the peoples,
for all the earth is Mine;
2. FREEDOM
TRUE FREEDOM IS NOT DOING WHAT YOU WANT BUT DOING WHAT GOD
WANTS.
John 8:35
So if the Son sets you free, you will be free
indeed.
Romans 6:22
But now that you have been set free from sin
and have become slaves of God, the benefit
you reap leads to holiness, and the result is
eternal life.
3. POWER
REAL POWER CAN ONLY BE FOUND IN
SUBMISSION TO CHRIST.
Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The
Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of
the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired
or weary, and his understanding no one can
fathom. 29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and
young men stumble and fall; 31 but those
who hope in the Lord will renew their
strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary, they will
walk and not be faint.
4. SIGNIFICANCE
YOUR VALUE IS DETERMINED IN
CHRIST NOT IN WHAT YOU HAVE.
Zechariah 2:8-9
8 For this is what the Lord Almighty says:
“After the Glorious One has sent me against
the nations that have plundered you—for
whoever touches you touches the apple of
his eye—
Zechariah 2:8-9
9 I will surely raise my hand against them so
that their slaves will plunder them.Then you
will know that the Lord Almighty has sent
me.
EVERY MONEY OR GIVING ISSUE IS AN
ISSUE OF THE HEART.
Matthew 6:24

BEING BLESSED IS NOT MEASURED BY HOW MUCH YOU KEEP BUT BY HOW MUCH YOU GIVE AWAY.
Matthew 6:33-34
33 But seek first his kingdom and his
righteousness, and all these things will be
given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not
worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will
worry about itself. Each day has enough
trouble of its own.
“I WILL GIVE GOD MY FIRST AND MY BEST SO HE CAN BLESS THE REST.”
IT’S NOT THE QUANTITY BUT THE
QUALITY.
Deuteronomy 8:18
18 But remember the Lord your God, for it
is he who gives you the ability to produce
wealth, and so confirms his covenant,
which he swore to your ancestors, as it is
today.
Leviticus 27:30
A tithe of everything from the land,
whether grain from the soil or fruit from the
trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to
the LORD.
TITHING IS NOT ABOUT GIVING 10%, BUT IT IS ALL ABOUT HOW MUCH
YOU LOVE GOD.
Malachi 3:8-9
8 "Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me."
But you ask, 'How do we rob you?' "In
tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a
curse — the whole nation of you —
because you are robbing me.
THE BLESSINGS OF THE TITHE
1. TITHING PROVIDES FOR GOD’S WORK
THROUGH HIS CHURCH
Malachi 3:10
10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse,
that there may be food in my house. Test
me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and
see if I will not throw open the floodgates of
heaven and pour out so much blessing thatthere will not be room enough to store it.
2. TITHING TEACHES US TO PUT GOD
FIRST.
Deuteronomy 14:23
23 Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and
olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and
flocks in the presence of the Lord your God
at the place he will choose as a dwelling for
his Name, so that you may learn to revere
the Lord your God always.
3. TITHING INCREASES MY FAITH IN GOD.
Malachi 3:10

neglecting the former.
WE GIVE TO GOD OUR FIRSTAND OUR BEST, JUST
AS HE DID.
IT REQUIRES FAITH TO GIVE FIRST. BUT IF YOU GIVE LAST, IT DOESN’T REQUIRE FAITH.
Proverbs 3:9-10
9 Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the
firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your
barns will be filled to overflowing, and
your vats will brim over with new wine.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us
in this: While we were still sinners, Christ
died for us.
“Do it while it’s hurting, because it will make you
stronger and better.”
“If it’s painful, it means your muscles are
developing. And that’s good for
you.”
“Do it while hurts!”
Deuteronomy 31:6
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be
afraid or terrified because of them, for the
Lord your God goes with you; he will never
leave you nor forsake you.”
