The Rebuke

“But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.”

The Solution

• Remember where they came from,

• Repent,

• Do the first works.

The Consequence

“If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent.”

(Revelation 2.5; ESV)

The Promise

“To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of

God.”(Revelation 2.5; ESV)

• As a congregation have we left our first love?– The congregation at Ephesus did, so can we?– Have we become satisfied?– Have we become unwilling?
