In Ramayana, God is seen blessing even faintest of his devotees.

Whereas in Mahabharata, God is seen eliminating all, including his devotees.

Why?

In Ramayana, God takes an army of strangers to fight his war.

In Mahabharata, God gives away his army to let happen, the war.

Why?

In Ramayana, God took all the pains and punishments onto himself.

While, in Mahabharata God stayed unarmed & only guided the routines of the war.

Why?

Is it because, In Ramayana, People waited for God to arrive & when he did, they followed him simply.

Whereas,In Mahabharata, God went to People, explaining to them his message, yet few followed.

Is it because,In Ramayana, God met people who showed absolute faith in Ram.

Whereas, In Mahabharata, God met people, educated and illustrious, yet displaying little faith in Krishna.

Is it because,In Ramayana, God encountered people who dissolved their self to service Ram.

Whereas,In Mahabharata, God encountered people who were lost serving their own plans.

And is it because,In Ramayana, God got people, who only wished to fulfill the mission of Ram.

Whereas,In Mahabharata, people were just blind to the actual purpose of Krishna, who was once Ram.

Yet, in both the epics,God showed clearly that he is there always for his true devotees.

Now perhaps, the choice is truly ours, to believe or not.
