Early Life•Born in 1881•At the end of high school, Teilhard decided to become a scientist and a priest•He became a Jesuit, paleontologist, biologist, and philosopher

Education•First steps were towards geology and geography •Accepted a professorship in geology at the Institute catholique in Paris •Finished Theology studies in Hastings England

Military Life•Fought in the trenches •After 4 years Teilhard was rewarded with the Croix De Guerre•Later, signed up as a stretcher-bearer as World War I started in Europe •Demobilized in 1919

Relationship with Jesuits•Teilhard lectured at a Jesuit college in Cairo

•Blended Science and Christianity together

•Ordained a Jesuit in 1912

First Principle Foundation Worked freely and by himself

He was flexible

He did things in his own way

Some popular books that Teilhard wrote include The Divine Milieu, The Phenomenon of Man, and Teilhard’s Vision of the Past
