Past, Present and Future

For so many years, we have

witnessed sharing,caring and loving…

From hundreds of children crowded into Mama Mary’s

little house…

Many others living in tin shelters with dirt floors…

To most living in dormitories with concrete floors…

From children sleeping on crowded mats with no pillow or blanket…

To having their own beds with

sheets, blankets and pillows…

From little or no food to eat…

And no place to sit and eat…

To more nutritious meals AND a place to sit…

From primitive bath facilities with little or no

water…

To more water, indoor plumbing…

And even some washing machines…

From babies and toddlers with nothing to play with…

To having their very own preschool with

teachers, resources…

And even playground equipment…

From children without Bibles…

Now every child has a Bible…in their own language

From children with just one basic school uniform with no socks or shoes…

Now every child has a school

sweater, socks, shoes and even pajamas…

From sending just a few children to school…

From sending just a few children to school…

Now ALL attend school, even those with learning disabilities

Seven are attending universities…

One has graduated with a degree in mechanical and

electrical engineering

Now, on this land…

Together, we will build a village

Work has begun…

For the children
