Our goal: PRAYER

To mobilize a team of ministry partners To be involved in the Great Commission along with us

Through their prayers and generosity

To see God as our faithful provider for our part in His kingdom work and joyfully seize our unique opportunity to involve others in His work.

*Trusting God for His provisionThrough His people

Giving out of His resourcesTo accomplish His mission

Your belief systems affect your behavior and responses. What you believe has more to do with what you have accumulated

more than what God has communicated. What you believe to be true controls your responses

more than objective truth does

May we speak so effectively that people get our vision and desire to support this!

Giving to God and God giving to usVERTICAL – NEVER HORIZONTAL

Take our thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ

1 Kings 17:1-16

Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.”Elijah Fed by Ravens 2 Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah: 3 “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. 4 You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.” 5 So he did what the LORD had told him. He went to the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan, and stayed there. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he drank from the brook. 7 Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land. 8 Then the word of the LORD came to him: 9 “Go at once to Zarephath in the region of Sidon and stay there. I have directed a widow there to supply you with food.” 10 So he went to Zarephath. When he came to the town gate, a widow was there gathering sticks. He called to her and asked, “Would you bring me a little water in a jar so I may have a drink?” 11 As she was going to get it, he called, “And bring me, please, a piece of bread.” 12 “As surely as the LORD your God lives,” she replied, “I don’t have any bread—only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug. I am gathering a few sticks to take home and make a meal for myself and my son, that we may eat it—and die.” 13 Elijah said to her, “Don’t be afraid. Go home and do as you have said. But first make a small loaf of bread for me from what you have and bring it to me, and then make something for yourself and your son. 14 For this is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘The jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day the LORD sends rain on the land.’” 15 She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and for the woman and her family. 16 For the jar of flour was not used up and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the LORD spoken by Elijah.

This month at the University on Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a select group of students will show

their humanitarian spirit by participating in the Bleedin’ Heathens Blood Drive. On February 12, they will eat cake to celebrate Darwin Day,

and earlier this year, the performed “de-baptism” to celebrate Blasphemy Day.

“While you are in this class, you will be expected to be an Agnostic or Atheist. Anyone with sincere religious beliefs will be expected to take off his religious hat.”

—PROFESSOR AT UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS

“Forget everything you learned about the New Testament. Jesus was a homosexual and magician.”

—PHILOSOPHY PROFESSOR AT SOUTHEASTERN COLLEGE

“My youngest son is attending the University of Oklahoma…[He] has been thoroughly brainwashed by his professors. He has lost his faith in God and has been taught that truth is relative.”

If family does not have kids going to go into college – SAY: But before we show you this, think back on your life when you were in college, what were some of experiences you encountered as you entered into college?

If family does have kids going into college – As you think about your kids going off to college in a couple of years, what are the concerns you have?

OUR PAST, PRESENT AND

FUTURE

» Cru is the name of Campus Crusade for Christ in the United States.

» We are a caring community passionate about connecting people to Jesus Christ.

» Our objective is for every person in the world to have an opportunity to hear the Gospel.

Cru

We invite others to partner with us to reach people for Christ.

Cru

Cru has no central funds for paying salaries and ministry expenses.

Like many other mission organizations, Cru depends upon the consistent financial support of concerned individuals and churches.

These contributions are used to fund the ministries of our staff members.

Cru

We must find a team of partners who will give $100 monthly or some other amount to support our ministry.

As soon as this team is complete, we can turn our full attention to reaching people for Christ.

Cru

OURCOMMITMENT

TO MY PARTNERS

» To work diligently to touch the lives of people for Jesus Christ.

» To regularly let you know how God is blessing the ministry.

» To be financially faithful with the funds given for our ministry.

» To share prayer concerns with one another.
