Anna Prayed Night and Day

• Fasting was always combined with prayer (cf. First Corinthians 7:5).

• Anna showed a great deal of devotion by fasting and praying for at least 60 years.

Anna Served Despite Her Past or Her Age

• She had probably lived as a widow for at least 60 years!

• Young people need to see older members who are still active in serving God.

God Works through Providence
