Influencer Pastors: An Insider’s Tour

Before each interview or visit, I checked out your church website. Many are quite creative!

I got to visit some churches over a weekend, when the real activity was happening.

I visited an incredible range of churches, from urban to rural, from new to old.

After following good signage, security access ranged all over the map - nothing to lots.

Many interviews were in the pastor’s meeting office, a surprising number with no desk.

Some pastors have an office within an office.

All were personalized and distinctive. Office size was all over the map.

Most pastors sat in a comfortable chair, and I hope they were energized by our interview.

Many took me on a tour after our interview. I saw a lot of good messaging and creativity.

I saw everything from the simple to the gorgeous, both in facilities and vehicles.

Most churches had construction happening at some level; this was the most extensive.

Most office staff seemed comfortable to have yet another visitor walk through.
