Goal

• Assist churches to contact, by phone, every one possible in Ellis County to pray, care and share with those people who would respond

Overview

• Train your people to call people near your church to find “unchurched” people to invited them to a Harvest Event at your church

Expected Results

• 24,671 Available phone numbers• 9,868 Completed contacts

Expected Results

• 45% of 9,868 are “unchurched” families• That means 4,441 households• 3 people per household average equals

13,323 people

Expected Results

• 10% of un-churched say yes to a harvest event invitation

• 444 families say “yes”• 1,332 people will respond

Expected Results

• 15% say they are “Interested” in Harvest event

• 666 “interested” families• 1998 “interested people”

Expected Results

• 25%,at a minimum, will share a prayer request

• 2,467 Prayer requests• 40% expected to share a prayer request• 3,947 Prayer requests possible

• Thursday, September 17, 2009 • Each church’s call zone will be determined

by the Ellis Hope 2010 Leadership team• You will be promptly informed as to the

costs required for your zone

Order Call to Prayer Guides

• Monday, September 21, 2009 order enough Call to Prayer Guides for your church.

• The cost is free, however the shipping is $14 for 100 guides. You can call 1-888-244-9400 to order.

Annual Celebration• Sunday, October 11 3PM at First Baptist

Church, Maypearl• Suggested Church Distribution of the Call

to Prayer Guide by this date• Praying begins for at least 30 days• Ellis Hope 2010 to be a focus of the

Money Due

• Monday, October 26, 2009 all money is due

• Friday, October 30, 2009 payment to Harvest Unlimited

Fee Structure

• Each contact name will be $.60• 1,000 contacts will be $600• Total Cost to EBA is $15,000

Other Costs• Mail letters to those who request prayer• Mail several letters to the those who

respond affirmatively• Harvest Sunday meal• Miscellaneous expenses such as meeting

a financial need of some people

Criteria used for available numbers

• First, the number of churches participating• Second, the number of churches participating in

your area.• Third, numbers will be assigned around your

church• Fourth, other numbers will be assigned as

available• The Ellis Hope 2010 Leadership Team will do

everything possible to meet your requests

Minister’s Gatherings• A gathering for prayer, fellowship and

information for Ellis Hope 2010– Thursday, October 1, 2009– Thursday, November 5, 2009– Thursday, December 3, 2009

• Meet at 10 AM at First Baptist Church Waxahachie

Executive Coordinator Training

• Sunday, November 8, 2009 3 PM to 5PM at TBD - Note: this date is a change from November 15th

• This training is for pastors, staff and the church’s Executive Coordinator

• Executive Coordinator begins enlisting his leadership team

Calling Lists mailed to church

• Monday, January 4, 2010 the calling list is mailed to church

• Sunday, January 10, 2010 the church begins daily praying for the people they will be calling. This will continue until the calling begins

Leadership Training

• Sunday, January 10, 2010 2PM to 5:30 PM Leadership Training at TBD

Caller Training

• January 31, 2010 3PM to 5:30PM at TBD

• Tuesday, March 2, 2010 The mailing information of those responding positively to receive the CD is sent to Association in an Excel Spreadsheet.

Harvest Event

CD Information• A gospel presentation • John 3 in over 300 languages • A link to Need Him Ministries for a person to talk

with about Christianity 24/7 • A link to Faith Comes by Hearing to download

an audio copy of the New Testament in more than 300 languages

• A link to BGCT’s church search to help people find a church near them

• A label to EBA’s web site to link to the EBA churches will be placed upon the package
