Why do we need to talk

about our (my) personality?

Man is a social being…a man with others…

not alone.

Our personality affects our

relationship with others…especially

with God.

If God made us good…then we are expected to

do good…to show goodness.

Each one of us is unique,

special, has own abilities, limitations,

perspective and personality

Discovering our personality

(attitude, character and etc.) is never

easy…it is not instant.

And we need to remember that discovering our

own self is a lifetime journey

Today, we need to look at our selves and be aware, feel

and listen to anything we can

discover.

As of today, we do have our own understanding of who we are right now because of what other people say about us and especially on how we look at ourselves…from our own experiences…

We are sometimes blind to see the personality of others and ourselves…

AM I…. accepting adaptable bold calm caring cheerful clever confident dependable dignified energetic extrovert friendly

giving happy helpful idealistic independent intelligent introvert kind knowledgeable logical loving mature modest

nervous observant optimistic organized patient powerful proud aggressive reflective relaxed religious responsive searching

self-assertive self-conscious sensible sentimental shy silly smart tense trustworthy warm wise

Our actions tell us who we are

It is easier to accept positive personalities we discover inside us…and its painful to face the truth when it comes to accepting our negative side.

… God loves us that he wants us to help each other to grow into a better person to build a more loving community.

ACTIVITY

QUESTIONS FOR SHARING1. How does it feel to know how your

classmates see you as a person? Why? 2. Were some of the personality written

on your paper true? Were some of it not true for you?

WE CAN HURT OUR OTHERS INTENTIONALLY OR NOT…WE COMMIT SIN, ESPECIALLY TO OUR GOD.

Our first parents committed their sin by not using their freedom properly. DISOBEDIENCE!

CLOSING PRAYER….

SIN AND PRAYER Our personality affects our relationship

with others and to our God. What is sin?(from “who prays saved

booklet”)--is an offense against God through the

deeds, words and omissions.

Unsa diay ang pag ampo?---communication with God.---ask for forgiveness, thanksgiving, etc, Nganung mag ampo man ta?---aron mabalik atong relasyun ngadto sa

Madiskubrehan usab nimo imong personalidad.

ACT OF CONTRITIONO my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended You, and I detest all my sins, because I fear the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend You, my God, who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Your grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen.[4]
