1946 -  Dr. Zodhiates appointed Executive Director. “The American Committee for the Evangelization of the Greeks”

1966 - Dr. Zodhiates became President of AMG.

1974 - Name changed to “AMG International” (Advancing the Ministries of the Gospel) to reflect the ministry’s global scope

1978 - AMG moves international offices to Chattanooga, TN.

2005 – Paul Jenks was appointed President upon the retirement of Dr. Zodhiates

2009 - Dr. Spiros Zodhiates entered into the presence of his Lord on October 10, 2009 after six decades of AMG leadership

2010 – Growth and expansion continues

After serving for fifteen years as a missionary in Thailand, in July 1996 Paul came to Chattanooga, Tennessee, to serve as Chief Executive Officer of AMG International.

In August, 2005, the Board of Trustees elected him as the President of AMG International.

MediaNewspaper Evangelism For over 50 yearsPresently in over 17 countries Newspaper Evangelism is particularly effective in predominantly Muslim, Hindu, and Buddhist countries.

In countries where gospel ads would not be allowed we often place a more general message such as: "Would you like to know real peace?" or "Are you lonely? Let us tell you about a friend who will never leave you."

A common result and follow up would be Bible correspondence course invitations as well as personal correspondence through the mail, email or by telephone.

For example: In India each month 9 Christian articles are published in 5 daily newspapers & 4 weekly / monthly magazines. Circulation reaches over 2 million people yielding over 2500 responses.

MediaInternet Evangelism

An exciting opportunity to introduce Iranian Muslims to Jesus Christ in the digital age!

AMG will be placing media buys on the 500 Internet web sites most frequented by Persian-speaking young people.

Each respondent can take a free seven-week interactive online bible study.

Those that pursue a relationship with Christ will be further followed up by local church leaders.

AMG International has teamed up with an Iranian-run ministry training new Iranian converts to be pastors and missionaries!
