Vision : By 2030 have a positive social impact on 1 million Liberian children through the sport of soccer.

After 40 years in the U.S., returning to Liberia, the place of my birth, to share my vision with the President of Liberia.

Sharing the Vision with the President of Liberia, 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner and the first woman President in Africa.

Got a traditional welcome to Liberia ceremony from the traditional queen of Liberia.

Time to get busy. Training league commissioners and grassroots community organizers.

Got organizations in Liberia to support the vision.

Got community buy in, everyone lending a hand to clean community spaces for games.

Afternoon nap time with my animal pals, before the late afternoon field cleaning session

Had to bring a little Texas to Liberia. We kicked this vision off with a big parade with over 2,000 players marching

The Vice President of Liberia popped in to kick off the vision, Liberia’s first national youth soccer/football league

“Uncle Doc, watch me catch.” Yes, my official soccer name in Liberia is Uncle Doc

“Uncle Doc, you can rest in America. Open your gate, we are ready to practice!”

Grass? Just give us a ball.

Just paying it forward.

No bicycle kick on gravel, please.

Ready for action, united we stand.

Hello from Liberia, West Africa. Thank you so much for the support!

League actions are always HOT. Sometimes we get over 4,000 spectators for top U-14B games. A little PK action here.

All games are action packed with strong spectator support. The games unite communities around the children.

Can sure remember a shot like that from back in the day!

We also celebrate the champions. Photo with the U-9B league MVP.

U-12B league MVP/community celebrity and very happy U-14B league Champion

Sometimes a little prayer is necessary to increase hope. West Point, Liberia is the second worse slum community in the world, but 1,000

wonderful children from there are in our soccer program.

Just when I was about to crash physically, help arrived. My good friends from Dallas Baptist University Women’s soccer team came to Liberia for 10 days to conducted skills clinics, share testimonies, and pour love on lots of children.

We believe! We have our eyes on the Dallas Cup. U-15B league All-stars
