The Holy Spirit SHIFT

Nomophobia

Nomophobia – Distress and anxiety due to loss of phone or being unreachable.

Anatidaephobia – Fear that somewhere, somehow a duck is watching you.

Didaskaleinophobia – Fear of school.

John 14:1,16 “Do not let your hearts be troubled… I will ask the Father, and He will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth.”

What changed?

Empowered to be a witness.

Pentecost: Fire

Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

Divine Boldness

Divine Boldness Know your divine authority and position:

Matt 28:18,19 Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples…”

I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Now He is far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. Ephesians 1:19-21

1 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus. Acts 4:29,30

Being a witness will cost us

Prayer for Boldness

(1) Enable me to speak your word with great boldness.

(2) Open the eyes of my heart to know the power, authority and position I have in Christ.

“I will be a witness for Jesus.”
