Elijah defeated the
prophets of Baal.
3
1 Kings 18:40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the
prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And
they took them: and Elijah brought them down to
the brook Kishon, and slew them there.
He killed them all.
Finish what you start. Our battles are not flesh and blood, but we
must finish strong in spiritual warfare.
Be good soldiers in God’s army.

41 And Elijah said unto Ahab,
Get thee up, eat and drink; for
there is a sound of abundance
of rain. 42 So Ahab went up to
eat and to drink. And Elijah
went up to the top of Carmel;
and he cast himself down upon
the earth, and put his face
between his knees,
Eat and drink
Pray
How did Elijah hear rain coming?
He was living by faith in God.
5
43 And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward
the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said,
There is nothing. And he said, “Go again,” seven
times.
Elijah said, “Go again.”
He sent him seven times. We tend to give up if our prayers aren’t soon
answered; Elijah kept on praying.
Put all your trust in God!

44 And it came to pass at the
seventh time, that he said,
Behold, there ariseth a little
cloud out of the sea, like a
man's hand. And he said, Go up,
say unto Ahab, Prepare thy
chariot, and get thee down, that
the rain stop thee not.
It still isn’t raining, but Elijah believes God.
That one small cloud signifies a flood!
7
45 And it came to pass in
the meanwhile, that the
heaven was black with
clouds and wind, and
there was a great rain.
And Ahab rode, and went
to Jezreel.
Faith and
perseverance
How did Elijah hear rain coming?
Believe God; never give up.

46 And the hand of the
LORD was on Elijah; and
he girded up his loins, and
ran before Ahab to the
entrance of Jezreel.
Elijah outran the horses, because the Hand of
the Lord was upon him.
We are not dependent upon our own strength
or wisdom to do the Will of God.
God’s Hand is upon us!

Ephesians 6 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in
the Lord, and in the Power of His Might. 11 Put on
the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to
stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we
wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of
the darkness of this world, against spiritual
wickedness in high places.
Satan uses people to do his vile work, but we must
not focus on the people.
Fight the devil.
10
Our best weapons are the Bible,
prayer, faith, and perseverance.
1 Thessalonians 5 17 Pray
without ceasing.
Never give up.
Keep on praying and trusting.
God will move!
11
We must never yield to the devil; constantly
resist him in the Power of God.
1 Timothy 6 12 Fight the good fight of faith, ….
12
Never try to appease the devil or his minions.
Don’t go along to get along. Resist.
2 Timothy 2 25 In meekness instructing those that
oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give
them repentance to the acknowledging of the Truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the
snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at
his will.
Devils know how to bait the trap.
13
He baits the trap, and they get in it.
Devils use them against God’s people.
14
Deuteronomy 31 6 Be strong and of a good
courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the
LORD thy God, He it is that doth go with thee; He
will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
Luke 12 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your
Father's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.
Devils are attacking us on many fronts.
We can be strong and brave.
We need not fear.
God is with us.!
15
Ephesians 6 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole
armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in
the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand
therefore, having your loins girt about with Truth,
and having on the breastplate of Righteousness;
Stand unshaken
and immovable.
Good soldiers!
16
Psalm 6 (TLB) 8 Go, leave me now, you men of
evil deeds, for the Lord has heard my weeping 9 and my pleading. He will answer all my prayers. 10 All my enemies shall be suddenly dishonored,
terror-stricken, and disgraced. God will turn them
back in shame.
Believe and receive!God will move for us, if we won’t be afraid.
Trust Him for everything.
17
Psalm 17 7 Shew Thy marvelous loving kindness,
O Thou that savest by Thy Right Hand them which
put their trust in Thee from those that rise up
against them.
God loves us; we are His children.
Trust The Lord God.
He will put to shame all those
who rise up against us.
18
Psalm 20:7-8 (NIV) Some trust in chariots and
some in horses, but we trust in the Name of the
LORD our God. They are brought to their knees
and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.
19
John 8:44 (KJV) 44 Ye are of your father the devil,
and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a
murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the
truth, because there is no truth in him. When he
speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a
liar, and the father of it.
The enemies of God and of the church
serve the devil, and like him -- they tell
not the truth, but lies.
Fear not; we have the victory in Jesus Christ.
