… In the beginning of time, God had faith in a woman so much that she was trusted to be our only passage into this world. With abundant love, care and forever nurturing spiritual seeds were deeply planted in her… God knew

that the destiny of the entire earth had been placed in the

right hands…

Violence by an intimate partner is one of the most common forms of violence against women.

… For thousands of years, everything worked as planned! The Lord’s purpose was being

fulfilled! Women ruled the world effectively… Queens,

Princesses, Supreme mothers… who gave abundantly, cared deeply, loved unconditionally, reigned peacefully… until ego, greed, aggression, ignorance… destroyed every hard fought purpose of human dignity,

gender equality, peace, care and Love… the very essence of

human existence!

… For thousands of years, everything worked as planned! The Lord’s purpose was being

fulfilled! Women ruled the world effectively… Queens,

Princesses, Supreme mothers… who gave abundantly, cared deeply, loved unconditionally, reigned peacefully… until ego, greed, aggression, ignorance… destroyed every hard fought purpose of human dignity,

gender equality, peace, care and Love… the very essence of

human existence!

Lack of access to education and opportunity, and low social status in communities are linked to violence against

women.

One obvious reason of violence therefore is ignorance

Our failure to understand such fundamental realities as the

oneness of the human race and the mistaken notion that force is the only honorable way to resolve

conflicts… EDUCATION …moral, material and practical …is therefore not only a fundamental right but a practical

necessity in today's world.

A wide range of physical, mental, sexual and reproductive, and maternal health problems can result

from violence against women.

As we begin this journey in search of ways to STOP this

inhuman maltreatment of our very own mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, nieces…

Let us pay homage to some of the greatest women leaders of

our past….

…It is TIME to Stand UP and say ‘’NO’’ to Violence and abuse of our Mothers,

Sisters, Daughters, Aunts, Nieces…

Burned Alive!

Everyday, thousands of women are Burned to

death or Scarred for life!

Beheaded! Every ten minutes a

mother is slainRaped!

Every five minutes a daughter is in pain

Beaten! Every three minutes… a

sister’s disdain Humiliated!

Every two minutes an aunt laments in vain…

Everyday, thousands of women are brutally

abused by someone they love and care deeply

about!

Most women have experienced Psychological Torture and Humiliation of

some sort…
