As your blog builds followers, ask your audience what they would like to read and why.

• When there is a news story or trend that can be linked to your business or blog matter, create something around it

• Be careful with controversial content – be ready to manage comments and discussion

• Personality is key to blog posts• Write an update on where your business

started – and where it is now• Talk about the pitfalls and hard lessons• Ask people to share their experiences too

• It can be anything from ‘how to’ open a Twitter account to how to improve domain authority

• Clear, concise guides are popular
