Objective: To inspire and support entrepreneurs to turn space-connected business ideas into commercial companies

Consortium behind the Swedish ESA-BIC:

Five year program 2016-2020

• The first ESA BIC in Scandinavia

• 40 start up’s, 8 per year• Three calls per year• Incubation in one of

three incubators for up to 2 year

Who can apply?• Innovative idea based on space-

related technology, expertise and/or application and target the non-space market

• Idea that targets the space market

• A company that is not more than five years old.

• Must be a citizen or company from an ESA membership country.

What do I get?• Funding of 50.000 € for product

development and IPR.

• Technical support up to 80 hours through technical partners.

• Access to ESA IP for commercialization.

• Accepted to ESA BIC incubator for business dev. support and networks.

• Support to secure further venture capital, loans and grants as needed.
