According to Florida Statutes, a contractor, subcontractor or
supplier, who is not hired by the owner of the property directly,
has a lien on the property for the value of materials, labor and/or
services furnished by him for the improvement of the property.
The contractor, subcontractor or supplier is required to notify the
owner about the lien by delivering a preliminary notice.
Likewise, the person is also required to deliver Mechanics
Lien Release Form when he receives payment.
But often these people find it a daunting
challenge to create Mechanics Lien Release Form by understanding
provisions of Florida Statutes.
