Our journey so far...

Lots of people live in Uganda.

Some parents can’t afford to feed their children.

They give up their babies because they feel they have no choice and put them in an orphanage.

What is the problem?

Where are we working?

We are currently working in the capital of Uganda, Kampala.

What are we doing about it?Child’s i Foundation wanted to help these

babies and their parents so they grow upin a FAMILY

Our first video.We put a video on the internet and people joined a community to start raising money. They jumped out of planes, swapped clothes, ran marathons and abseiled.

Our trip to Uganda.We went out to Uganda to set up our charity. We found a house and decorated it.

Our baby shower.We asked our supporters for help to buy furniture and supplies. We had

a massive baby shower!

Opening DayIn April 2010, We opened a transitional babies home called Malaika* and welcomed the first baby! The aim is to provide short term life-saving care.

(*Malaika means angel in Swahili).

Full House

By September we had a full house with 25 babies in our care aged between 1 day old to 2 years old.

When the babies are sick we give them medicine to make them better.
