What are the Symptoms?

➢ 1 in 5,000 people have this syndrome including all men and women of all races and ethnic groups.

➢ 3 out of 4 people with Marfan syndrome inherit it.

➢ 50% chance they will pass along the genetic mutation each time they have a child.

What population is affected?

➢ It's passed down through genetics.➢ It is a dominate

How is it Inherited?

➢ Given some medication and some are recommended a bracelet with a button to press if they need help.

What medical assistance?

➢ Medication to keep blood pressure low

➢ Eye Glasses or Contacts➢ Back Brace➢ Surgery

Are There Treatments?

➢ At the present, there is no way to prevent Marfan Syndrome
