So...What should you do?

What should you do about real limitations?

Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times

I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my

weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in

persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. !

What we know about limitations

• Everybody has them - "I was given..."

• They have a purpose - "To keep me from being conceited..."

• It's okay for you to ask for God to take them away - "Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me"

• You can either whine about them or rejoice in them - "Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses"

• God will use them if you allow him to - "My power is made perfect in weakness"

Limitations help you grow as a photographer. Traveling with the Fuji x100s for a month, from Iceland to my home country in France, was

very liberating. Not only the comfortable size and weight of the camera was a great advantage, the fact that the camera became a

simple tool and did not get in the way between me and my vision was the best part.
