• People hope that banning sodas will eventually be a helpful factor in stopping child obesity.

•Banning the sodas from New York schools have already made a difference in child health from 2008-2010.

•It is proven that ever since some of the schools banned soda from lunch time, the majority of the students performance after lunch has decreased.

•Younger students are having a harder time staying alert in their afternoon classes with the lack of sugar.

People are attempting

to stop child obesity.

It is a response to threat of lawsuits and state legislation.

•Cafeterias would only serve bottled water, low-fat and non-fat milk, and 100% fruit juice.

•People believe that with consistency, children's bad habits will be changed.

•A little over ¼ of the schools around the U.S have already banned sodas from their daily activities.

•People aren’t stopping there. •Attempts to ban soda from every single school are being made.
