Aoife Ward, an Irish married to an

Indian man was persuaded to take

part in the Miss Ethnic contest by her sister-in-law.

Disha, from Wellington, New

Zealand is a trained Kathak dancer and a handicraft designer.

Her entry proves that even though she may

be miles from her country, her heart is

still Indian.

Neetu Teewari, who’s originally from

Uttarakhand lives in USA. She is a full time

mother and a homemaker. Her interest include

cooking and wearing and trying out new

ethnic looks.

Julia Loginova from Estonia also sent in her

entry. Her love for Indian classical dance forms is evident from

her entry.

Radhika Dave from Bromley UK is a

student of Forensic and Medical sciences. She keeps her culture alive in UK by being a part of the National

Hindu Students Forum Bradford.

Ruchi Dubey is a trained classical

dancer, who’s forte is Bharatnatyam.

She has sent in her entry from the US

where she is currently pursuing

her higher education.
