A simple tribute

To our friend

First of the litter to bound out

Sharing a dog’s life

• With Lucky, (his brother’s keeper)

And Sam

Although Luke was a housedog

• He was usually in the doghouse!

• Tipping bowls, flipping lids, opening cupboards, knocking down gates,

• Life was for mischief

Toys

• Only excite me • When Lucky has them

They loved to play

DOGS teach us to :

Watch each other’s back

First, care for someone who depends on us, then take care of ourselves

Appreciate all things in life

• Imagine getting excited over the same food each day…

Life is to be lived

• So play a little

Don’t take life too seriously

Sometimes you have to work at leisure

Never under estimate the renewing power of a nap

Companionship can soften the edges

• Of a rough and sometimes lonely world

Each day, anticipate the return home of our those dear to us

Have a short memory

• Don’t go to bed angry with our bedfellows

Love unconditionally

Learn humility

• We are no where near the persons our dogs make us out to be.

Our Luke lost a short battle to lymphoma

• Courageously wagging while the body gave way

Luke

lived a loyal, enthusiastic and a bit of a spoiled life

RIP Buddy

… a good and faithful dog that will be missed
