X-rays is a form of electromagnetic radiation. X-rays can penetrate some solids and liquids, and all gases. X-rays are used to image the inside of objects in diagnostic radiography.

The number of ultrasounds done depends upon a number of factors such as previous scans, blood test results, any problems identified, etc.

Just walk-in for your x-ray test. No appointment or preparation is required.

No preparation is required for thyroid ultrasound or musculoskeletal ultrasound.
