DESCRIPTION
http://www.vitiligoprotocol.co.uk After living with 80% vitiligo for almost 50 years, I cured myself using a natural, nutritional treatment that has proved to be effective and permanent for me.This presentation provides some basic information about vitiligo and the plight of those who have it (roughly 2% of the world's population) and it shares a little of my own story. Like many people with this condition, I found it psychologically distressing and was given no real answers by the medical profession, who still do not fully understand the cause of this skin condition. Because it is not life-threatening it does not receive the same attention or funding as other diseases and the emotional impact is not appreciated by those who do not have first-hand experience of it. Available medical treatments often don't work, or may only have temporary success. Worse still, there are numerous scams today that seek to profit from people's desperation to find a cure. I believe that people with vitiligo can really benefit from taking responsibility for finding their own best treatments and coping strategies and should support and encourage each other until a definitive cure is found. This is why I created my Vitiligo Protocol: my personal story of my life with - and recovery from - vitiligo. I hope others will find this presentation and my website informative and inspiring and that it will give new hope to those who may have given up on ever seeing their skin re-pigmented and healthy once more.

Vitiligo Cured NaturallyMy story of how I found a
vitiligo treatment that works for me
www.vitiligoprotocol.co.uk
My name is Caroline…
I am one of the estimated 2% of the world’s population that suffer from a condition
called vitiligo.
Vitiligo causes the skin, and sometimes the hair, to turn white in
patches. This is because melanocytes, the cells which give
skin its colour, have stopped functioning normally.
Despite on-going research, the cause is still unclear and no
definitive cure exists at this time.
It seems likely that there are numerous different causes, which makes finding a cure complicated.
Currently, opinions and advice from the medical profession are conflicting.
Sadly, they are sometimes even unhelpful and unsympathetic.
Because the condition is
not life-threatening,
the profoundly distressing
psychological effects – and social stigma - suffered by
many are often
underestimated.
Most treatments offered to patients have limited success - if any at all - or else the benefits are temporary.
Regaining lost pigment, only to lose it all again, can be more emotionally devastating than
developing the condition in the first place.
The problem is, there is so much
conflicting information available
now on the internet that it’s hard to know where
to start…
… added to which there are a growing number of opportunistic charlatans peddling useless, or even dangerous, “guaranteed
cures”.
get-better-instantly(-or-not).com
Those who cynically attempt to profiteer from the anguish and
desperation of others are, thankfully, usually easy to
distinguish from the genuine article.
Their adverts and websites are usually full of inaccuracies,
exaggerated claims and hard-sell techniques (and often dodgy-looking pictures and broken
English!)
… and to encourage and support each other… because you can only understand what living with vitiligo is like if you have done it yourself.
Until a definitive cure is found, I believe it is up to
each of us to take responsibility for finding our own best therapies, treatments and coping
strategies...
Before I found an effective treatment I’d have given my right arm …
(this is my right arm, by the way, before and during the re-pigmentation process!)
So I decided to create the sort of website I wish had existed back then.
… for some help and advice from someone who had recovered from
vitiligo.
Vitiligo Cured NaturallyI have recorded as much detail of my
vitiligo story (and as much information & inspiration as possible) on my website
and blog atwww.vitiligoprotocol.co.uk
I can also be contacted there and am happy to answer questions and help in
any way I can.
