INTRODUCTIONO The thoracic cavity is bounded by

the walls of thorax. O One of the diseases that occur in the

thoracic cavity is pleura effusion. O To fulfil the needs of enforcement,

diagnose then performed through complementary Radiology examination.

PURPOSEO The objective of this study is to find

out the reason why in the Installation Radiodiagnostic Hospital dr. Soetomo using dextra lateral projection standart for radiological examination of the thorax lateral.

METHODO SUBJECT AND OBJECT OF RESEARCH

1. The subject were three technologist: a Radiologist, one patient one doctor sender.

2. The object was Thorax examination procedure in cases of pleural effusion in Installation Radiodiagnostic Hospital dr. Soetomo Surabaya
