The Medical Council of India has issued a public notice in today's (19 August 2014) Hindustan Times: "This is for the information of the public at large - Public is hereby informed that whenever they come across any unethical act or medical misconduct (commission/cuts, unnecessary investigation and nexus with drug companies, they should immediately approach and lodge a complaint with the MCI where the Medical Practitioner is registered.
