The aim of this book is to assess the clinical and radiographic effect ofOmega-3 fatty acids, as an adjunctive therapy in management of chronicperiodontitis in postmenopausal osteoporotic females. After measuring theplaque index (PI), gingival index (GI), pocket depth (PD) and clinicalattachment level (CAL). In addition to assessing the radiographic linear anddensity measurements. It can be concluded that the use of Omega-3 is abeneficial nutritional supplementation in chronic periodontitismanagement.
