Coloring hair with henna

Add boiling water to powder to a consistensy like ketchup

Mix well

Separate hair into 4 areas

Clip in place

Take out one clip

Separate hair with rat tail comb

Add henna mixture along roots

Rub henna into hair with glovedfingers

Color each section and return clips

Cover hair around face well

Cover hair with plastic wrap and coverears so mud won´t get in

Cover with towel and wait 2 hours

Wash your hair in the shower

• Washing out henna is like washing mud out of your hair. Add some hair condicioner whichwill help unravel your hair and makesremoving the henna a little easier. Just keepwashing and rinsing until hair is free of henna. It´s ok to use shampoo, it won´t wash out.

Advantages of henna

• Henna is a natural product and won´t damageyour hair. Your hair will stay soft and shiny. Youcan use it every few weeks as your grey hairgrows out. It´s very inexpensive as well.

• If you want to color all your hair, start with theroots and then just saturate all your hair with themixture.

• Disadvantage: it only comes in red.

• Test for allergy. Apply a small amount at the napeof your neck. Some people are allergic.
