THE CONSULTATION

During your pre-surgical consultation, the risks related to anesthesia, and the surgery ingeneral, will be discussed. It’s very important you fully understand them so you can make an educated decision on your surgery.

MUST HAVE: Certified Anesthesiologist

• always have a trusted, certified anesthesiologist during the surgery• never do major surgery without an anesthesiologist • it’s very important to know and trustthe anesthesiologist you’re working with• a good anesthesiologist knows how to deal with young, healthy patients but also with very sick people that are having live threatening surgeries

Even though the risk of a problem occurring during surgery is very low, it’s always safer tohave a certified anesthesiologist present.
