Harmony staff serves over 2,000 children and families

Adoption Support and Preservation

ASAP provides post adoption support to Tennessee

families: In-home crisis intervention

Family & individual therapy

Support groups Families that have

participated in our program have a 99% adoption

success rate.

FOCUSFinding our Children Unconditional

Support

FOCUS uses intensive research

methods to find adoptive families for older, harder-to-place

children who have spent years in the

child welfare system and foster care.

Adoption Services

Harmony has developed an

innovative array of programs and

services to prepare families for adoption

and to provide education and support for the

adoption.

Home Studies

Harmony provides family studies for

investigations required by the TN

Department of Children’s Services for all prospective foster and adoptive

families.

Harmony Family Center at Montvale

Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains on 364 acres, Harmony

Family Center at Montvale grows out

of Harmony’s 18 years of service to

children and families.

Harmony’s Mission – Strengthening Families for Better Communities

The BarnHarmony’s Equine

Assisted Psychotherapy Program, using

horses in counseling, is

especially effective with teens; the

therapeutic approach is

gaining national recognition.

Family Camps

Harmony Family Camp is designed

with adoptive families in mind – giving families the

opportunity to heal, grow and connect

with one another in Montvale’s tranquil/

outdoor setting.

Resources for the Community

Montvale’s facilities are available for rental to the public for a

variety of events: meetings, retreats,

weddings, family gatherings, and

recreation.

camping and recreational

opportunities.
