Maintenance & Storage Facility : ongoing works

Mount Dennis Station: ongoing works

• Foundations – Mount Dennis station box concrete structure & main entrance (ongoing)

• Driven Piles for Photography Drive Bridge Abutment – Week of Sept 25 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM

• Keelesdale Road and sidewalk north of Eglinton closed commencing October 2, 2017

• Building 9 foundations

Railway Corridor: ongoing work

Phase 2 – started April 2017

• CP Track diversion Track Grading & Track Construction – started September 5, 2017

Phase 3 – started May 2017

• Center Temporary Shoring Wall (excavation & tie-backs) – Fall 2017

• LRT and Pedestrian Tunnel construction (excavation) – Fall 2017

• Work within the rail corridor will occur during the hours of 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM

• Anticipated night work will occur over the span of 2 to 3 nights to complete borehole drilling. This work is expected to begin at the end of September 2017. A notice will be canvassed to the affected residents on Hollis Street within the next week

West Portal: ongoing work

• Box tunnel construction tiebacks and struts de-stressed and removals. Backfill (ongoing)

• Utility relocation works for Elevated Guideway – Manhole 27 is completed• To follow: Retaining wall and backfilling for Eglinton Avenue West realignment –

shaft walls demolition started. Utilities relocation at south Eglinton Avenue West (No-Frills entrance) to start foundations of the Elevated Guideway by end of September 2017.

• Mini concrete trucks delivering concrete into tunnel.

• Concrete trucks deliver loose concrete to the work area• Loose concrete mix is used to fill the bottom of the tunnel• Tunnel Fit Out Crew flatten and smooth it

• Workers install welded mesh which functions like rebar to help reinforce the next layer of concrete

• Higher strength concrete is poured to provide the flat track slab for the rail tracks• Workers spread the concrete, and a truss screed machine vibrates it into a perfectly level

surface

Keelesdale Station: ongoing works

Ongoing

• Excavation under the deck, Main Entrance, 2nd Entrance, 3rd Entrance and TPSS • Tieback installation level B complete. Level C starts Sepbember 25th• Utility support 95% complete• Second shift is working from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. daily.
