• Preliminary Project Timeline– Present to City Council: Spring 2014– Public comment/input meeting: Spring 2014– Finalize Conceptual Plan: Summer 2014– Begin Capital Campaign: Summer 2014– Solicit RFQ for Design Firm: Summer/Fall 2014– Project Specifications for Bids: Spring 2015– Construction: Summer 2015 (depending on

success of fund raising efforts)

• Budget Summary– Estimated Project Budget: $2,000,000– College Station Rotary Club & College Station Noon Lions

Clubs to spearhead the Capital Campaign– Depending on successful fund raising efforts, the Park could

be built in phases– City of College Station funding allocated toward the project

would come out of the Parkland Dedication Community Park Zone “C”.

– College Station Parks & Recreation responsible for long term O&M; Costs supplemented by ongoing donations to a dedicated fund specifically for the inclusive playground.
