Session Overview

•  ‘Smart' phones, cities, cars...the common feature that makes them smart is that they are all: "intelligent, connected and have the ability to

sense, process, report, and take corrective action”

•  Can fundraising live up to these characteristics? •  As the world changes, and the things that people

and companies consume, causes and their need for funds compete for time, attention and support.

•  This session will look at what it takes to be 'smart’ and how fundraisers may be the best equipped to do it.

Session Objective

What I hope you will walk away with today: •  Some insight into harnessing the change

taking place around us all. •  How technology, access to information and

an open mind are keys to success in the connected, converging world we all live in.

•  A little inspiration for us, fundraisers, to recognise our strengths and maximise our efforts and impact.
