Trichoderma sp.is acosmopolitan andabundant fungi insoil with variouscapacities &benefits forplants
ØTrichoderma :asbiofertilizer :• Enhances degradation oforganic matter, allowing thereleaseofnutrients(N,P,K,etc)
• Solubilizes therockphosphateandmicronutrients making them availableforplant
• Produces phytohormonesthat significantly increased thetotalrootlength leading topromoting ofplantgrowth
ØTrichoderma :aseffectivebiological controlagentforanumber ofsoil-bornepathogens
• Capability ofutilizing diversesubstrates andcompetition fornutrients• Inhibitionofplantpathogenic fungi (mycoparasitism antagonisticactivity)producers ofantibiotics andcell wall

State in advance of the results:´ Result 1: questionnaire prepared by the PhD student (and approved by the consortium)
´ Result 2: two types of amendments and organic products enriched products under analysis, another in production)
´ Result 3: 21 CEP have already tested organic amendments and two current products, plus a vase vegetation trials and greenhouse)
´ Outcome 4: a guided organized tour, study tour, training session and awareness for the benefit of growers and distributors of inputs)
ProjectGoals
Improve theagronomic potential ofdifferent organic amendments bydeveloping anddisseminating
techniqueandpracticesthat promotetheorganic amendment enriched with

Succes factor• The consortium is constituted as an Interest EconomicGroup. Members of the IEG meet regularly and persue thesame objectives. There are sufficiently strong personalrelations between the founding members (ARFA,BIOPHYTECH, BIOPROTECT), allowing welding of theperipheral actors.• The consortium is coordinated by the private biocontrolsector. The transferred technology is consistent with thecompany's priorities and allows it greater sustainabilitythrough improved credibility.• The basic actors of the consortium already working togetherbefore this PAEPARD program, the assistance providedenabled more vigorous support (seed invetment) for theachievement of the objectives of the EIG.• The products proposed by the consortium meet the needsof the farmers (fertilization, conservation of soil fertility, pestcontrol and crop diseases)
Lessons tolearn• Fortheconsortiumtowork,it is necessary that allactors pursue thesame interests, ifnotsome willalways lag behind.• Grouping actors bysector• Integrate publicresearch structuresthrough aresults-based contracting process (even servicedelivery).• Conduct regulary andfrequently meetingswith allmembers oftheconsortium.
