Amelia Edwards Projects 2014-15

Amelia Edwards Projects 2014:

• Book sponsorship: Caminos notes on Gebel Silsileh, second book on Shatt er Rigal,

• Amelia Edwards conservation project: Certainly includes watercolour; could include conservation of novel, boxes for 1st ed of 1000 miles up the Nile (in 2v)

• Online archive: Intern to (re)scan / watermark and catalogue Amarna cards, link to publication of items

• Display cabinet: Probably not AEP.  Hazel will investigate whether we can locate one cheaply without needing to raise money

• EES Fellowships: 3-6 month placements of UK-based Egyptologists in Cairo office to carry out training etc

• Completing the EES collection in the Cairo office: transportation of EES back catalogue
