There are foods all over the country breaking records… let’s go find them.

CONCEPT

There are foods all over this great culinary country that are breaking records, be it as grand as the spiciest burger in the world, or as local as the tastiest BBQ in the research triangle of North Carolina. But no matter what it is, big, small, spicy, or sweet, everyone wants to see it, try it, and enjoy it. Our host will explore all the record food the USA has to offer while sharing his experience with fans.

OUR HOST WILL BE OUTGOING, CURIOUS AND HUNGRY. HE OR SHE WILL USE THEIR FOOD KNOWLEDGE AND SENSE OF ADVENTURE TO EXPLORE RECORD FOODS.

FORMAT

Each episode our host will visit 2 to 3 locations that have a record breaking food.  Sometimes these records are internationally or nationally  recognized, and sometimes they are just the record holder for a particular region, creating limitless record holding foods.  Episodes can be broke down by region i.e. spiciest burger episode could be broken down into regions in the US: West, East and South) Episodes can also contain 2 to 3 different records, allowing for a repurposing of footage for episodes that feel brand new.

Our host would arrive, talk to the locals who have tasted this record holding food, and build the home audience’s anticipation.  

Then it’s time to meet the chef, and see what this record holding food/dish is.  The chef will show our host how it’s made, and what makes it so special.  Then it’s time to try this delectable dish.
