DESCRIPTION
The Virgin Islands has an abundance of sunshine. It doesn't have to be shipped from foreign shores via freighters. Its use is much cheaper than burning oil and better for the environment than any fossil fuel. The Virgin Islands utility turned the switch on to their first solar farm on Oct. 27, 2014.
