The Name Game – An Alphabet Legacy

Chapter 3 – The First Heir

The people decided an in the end Araya was chosen as the first heiress of the Name Game. In a vote of 6-1-0, her spare is Akiyama.

With her want to woohoo 20 sims, I felt it was fitting to get that started while in university.

Obviously this guy won’t be her spouse, but it was good to get it out of the way.

Akiyama: Just let me escape. I have no reason to be here.

Well if Araya suddenly dies, you take over.

Akiyama: But I don’t even want a husband.

Well… there are alternatives.

The first couple of semesters flew by for the three eligible members of generation A.

Akiyama: Sucks for the twins. I doubt they’ll even be featured.

Akiyama managed to be one of my more interesting sims I’ve played considering her… unique appearance.

Akiyama: I’m a fashion icon.

At least the one person who voted for you will enjoy this.

Knowing that Araya was leading the polls, I decided to find her someone who could be a real spouse. Enter Ralph Kwa – fellow romance sim.

Araya, who was majoring in art, found a passion for cosmetology on the side.

Akiyama also managed to find someone while in college. An older woman by the name of Elizabeth Akagi.

Adler meanwhile met Kristy Davison. Really was keeping my options open not knowing how things could turn out by the last day of the poll.

The years flew by and eventually the three main kids graduated from college.

Last: So you’re back?

Araya: Are you still mad at mom?

Last: This house hasn’t even been played since the three of you left. I’m still dealing with the twins being babies.

And yet he and Araya are three bolts.

Time to start generation B.

Andrews as a toddler revealed that he is a Sagittarius 2/8/9/8/7

And Ainsley is a Capricorn 9/8/3/6/6

Last reached elderhood with a platinum aspiration, so hopefully he will be around for a while.

He also wanted nothing to do with the toddlers.

And then walked in a familiar face.

Yusun: I just wanted to see my kids.

Araya: Mom, you really shouldn’t be here right now.

Yusun: I promise to stop kicking over the trash can if you let me stay. Please. They’re my babies.

Last finally gave in and started to spend time with the twins.

Andrews: Why are you mad, papa?

Last: Please don’t ever call me that.

And a certain player got sick of the actions of Yusun.

Ralph: Are you sure about this?

Araya: It’s better than cockroaches.

For the record, Yusun is now a popularity/romance sim while Last is a popularity/family sim.

Yusun: I still can’t believe Last is allowed to live here.

Ralph: He’s the founder. This is technically his home. Have you never been involved in a legacy before?

Yusun: No.

Araya: She was newly generated.

And the first B baby of the generation: BALIK NAME. She is a tauros 8/8/4/8/7. Balik is Turkish and means fish.

Of course, the twins grew up meaning that I was getting closer to having more open spaces in the family (currently am at 7).

But there was always that 8th space I could use.

Balik became a toddler.

I still didn’t have a sibling for her yet.

And then she became a child.

Then I finally heard that chime.

Andrews: You’re lucky.

Balik: Glub glub glub?

Andrews: Because you get to be a real part of the family. I’m just a mistake.

Araya: Aiden, what are you doing here?

Aiden: I came to see my kids.

Araya: Damnit.

Aiden: Is this also my kid?

Ralph: Hell no!

Araya: Aiden, please leave my family alone.

Teenage Ainsley rolled family and wants to graduate 3 kids from college. She likes underwear and hats but not the cleaning skill.

Teenage Andrews is a fortune sim who wants 5 top businesses. He likes hats and the cleaning skill, but not the athletic skill.

Araya: And that’s why you should never let a spouse, barring that you’re the next heir, cheat on you.

Balik: Glub glub!

And here is the second generation B kid: BEAUMONT NAME. Beaumont is French for beautiful hill. I don’t know his personality yet because this is as far as I have played.
