The Marching Couch Potatoes GroupComplaints About TV Snacks

Airing Our Complaints…

The Marching Couch Potatoes Group have complaints about the too-much salt content of snack chips in the market that it has urged them to sit up and take action.

As unhealthy as being a couch potato is, our group has realized that our snacks of choice are really starting to add to the un-healthiness of our favorite past time (marching right over to the couch to invest in some quality channel surfing time).

The realization…It is bad enough that the very best TV watching

snack are potato chips (and nobody can eat “just one”) but these snack chips are definitely junk food! We realize this is not news, but our group has been recently horrified by the way in which these chips are made.

We finally woke up and realized that the vast majority of chips are made by deep-frying them in bad cholesterol-laden oil, AND the amount of sodium in these products compound just how horrific they really are for our bodies.

The Action…These complaints are definitely not new, but the group also aims to

constantly remind the public about the ill-effects of indiscriminate consumption of these and quite possibly make a consistent consumer review and/or survey of the latest items that come out in the market.

The consumers’ active participation is also strongly encouraged to strengthen the challenge posed to snack-food manufacturers to create healthier versions of these products.

Exercise? Surely this crusade will be one!
