OBJECTIVES

• To talk about celebrities you admire and say why they were famous

• To become familiarised with some celebrities that were/are important in music and literature

• To be able to negotiate in order to make a common choice

• They travelled around the world and met the Royal Family

• He was born in the USA• He became famous

when he began to sing with his brothers. He was only six!

• He wrote his own lyrics• He broke a record with

his album “Thriller”• He died last year at the

age of 51

JK ROWLING

• She was born in 1965• She went to Portugal to

work as an English teacher

• She wrote Harry Potter and became a billionaire

• She bought a big house in the country but also gave £1million to combat poverty

• He lived in Transylvania

• He chose his victims carefully

• He didn’t kill people but caught them and bit them to eat blood

• Write a paragraph about a famous people you admire using the simple past:– Who was that person? Why was

he/she famous? Write two things about his/her life. Attach a picture!!!!
