FIELD DAYS

Held in the popular seaside holiday resort of Whangamata, the 5 day festival celebrates the

music, culture, fashion, music, hot rods, motorbikes, dancing, dragsters and scooters. Held on the main Street of Whangamata the festival has grown from 4,000 to over 70,000

people in just 5 years. This makes it one of the largest events of its kind in the world. Beach

hop is held from the 30th April to the 4th of May each year. The dates can vary but are set around

the same time each year.

The Field days is an agricultural party that has been happening for almost 40years in Mystery Creek Hamilton. It is held in the month of June from the 13th-16th. The Field days consists of all agricultural events some including: Tractor pulling, agriculture

art wear, Logging skills etc.It’s a great event to get the family together, especially those who

are involved with agriculture.
