Dundalk fm raising funds for local charities and for our town's local community radio station

Preview:

DESCRIPTION

A community radio station is like a St Patrick's Parade - every community group in the area is involved. To develop Dundalk FM as a community resource, we need to upgrade our transmission equipment. We also want to support a local charity North Louth Hospice, who rely totally on donations from the public. Dundalk FM's 2014 Radiothon starts at 8am on Friday 25th April.

● In April we run our 3rd Annual Radiothon.● Apart from raising money for a good cause, it is

a chance to mix up the schedule and pack a lot of fun and into a short space of time.

● We hope to raise €2,500 and split it between the North Louth Hospice and to upgrade our radio station transmission equipment.

● Here are some photos from 2012 and 2013...

Radiothon Beneficeries

On April 25th 2014, Dundalk FM's duo Paddy Mac and Padraig Quigley will go head to head in a bid to broadcast for 24 hours.

But that might be too easy and

WE NEED YOUR HELP to compile

one challenge for every hour.

It could be a team or a head to head

challenge, studio based or out and

about in the town.

So far we have three challenges...

1. Face (on the streets)

2. Tongue Twister (in the studio)

3. Town Crier (on the streets)

● and we need 21 more!!!

What would sound absolutely CRAZY on air?
