Beautiful Mountain Dancers Richard Calmes

I have traveled from the urban scenes of New York City in my last gallery to the rural mountains of North Georgia to photograph beautiful dancers.

I took a group of dancers to the town of Hiawassee, Georgia for 3 days of shooting in the rivers, lakes, and the historic Pioneer Village at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.

Richard's post-war career as an architect, along with his dedicated athleticism as a distance

aerobic athlete, laid the groundwork for his artistic appreciation of another form of "flight" – the world of dance. By capturing these "bursts of beauty" in a photograph, I can preserve perfection forever."
