Introduciton

• RF based door lock System is a project, which is used for security purpose to Bank lockers, Automobile vehicles etc.

Embedded system

• Embedded system is the combination of hadware and software part which perform a well defined task.

They are used in 1.Consumer electronics2. Telecommunication3. Security etc.

Different Embedded Based Devices

Project

• Wireless Code Locking System is a project, which is used for security purpose to Bank lockers, Automobile vehicles and etc.

• By using this code locking project, we can set a code for locking or opening that device, first a code will be provided to lock and unlock. That code will be a numeric data from ‘0’ to ‘9’. A virtual wireless keypad will be provided in the circuit with LCD display.

Explanation

• We have keypad which is connected for entering the password, which is interfaced with microcontroller through wireless RF transmitter. We have one wireless RF receiver which is interfaced directly with Alarm and Relay. When we enter the password through keypad on Transmitter unit, the receiver receives the password and compares that password. If password is not matched, alarm for indication.

When it goes above three times it will disappear from the LCD. And it will generate a long alarm. When you give correct entry, the controller will ON relay for access the external device. But Password is wrong in receiver side alarm will be active.

Methodology

• This project is designed by following blocks• Microcontroller.• LCD display.• Encoder with RF transmitter. • Decoder with RF receiver • Motor • Alarm

Microcontroller 8051

• is defined as combination of Microprocessor & its external units.– Inbuilt RAM– Inbuilt ROM– Inbuilt I/O ports

Specification of 8051

• 8-bit processor• 128-byte of RAM• 4-Kilobyte of onchip ROM• Two Timers• 4 I/O ports• 1 Serial port• 6 interupts

RF Transmitter

• The 212 encoders are a series of CMOS LSIs for remote control system applications. They are capable of encoding information which consists of N address bits and 12_N data bits. Encoder (HT12E)

RF Reciever

• The 212 decoders are a series of CMOS LSIs for remote control system applications. They are paired with Holtek_s 212 series of encoders. The decoders receive serial addresses and data from a programmed 212 series of encoders that are transmitted by a carrier using an RF or an IR transmission medium. Decoder (HT12D)

LCD display

• LCD module have 8-bit data interface and control pins. One can send data as 8-bit or in pair of two 4-bit nibbles. To display any character on LCD micro controller has to send its ASCII value to the data bus of LCD. LCD display used here is having 16x2 size. It means 2 lines each with 16 character. Lcd display (16x2)

Advantage

• Compatible size.• Low cost. • Easy to implement on any device.

Wireless.• It is used to prevent from hacking

Application

• Used in many security systems like Bank locker, Automobile vehicles, door opening and closing...etc. It can be used in any security. It protects any device and is very secured.
